Your home’s interior plumbing is a complex, pressurized network hidden behind drywall and under floors. When a pipe develops a pinhole leak, a washing machine valve seizes, or your home suffers a sudden drop in water pressure, the resulting water damage can be devastating.
At Plumbing Utah, we handle every aspect of your home’s indoor plumbing infrastructure. Dispatched directly from our Midvale headquarters, our licensed plumbers arrive quickly at homes in Sandy, Midvale, and West Jordan with fully stocked trucks. We diagnose the root cause of your plumbing failure—whether it is age, freezing, or mineral corrosion—and provide a permanent, code-compliant fix.
While high-volume national franchises often treat the symptoms with quick patches, we focus on the long-term integrity of your entire system, providing upfront, flat-rate pricing before any wrenches are turned.
EXCELLENT Based on 501 reviews Posted on Google Robert AlderTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was looking for a good plumber, & I found an excellent plumber, Heath at Plumbing Utah. Water heater replacement & house pressure valve. He carefully detailed the necessary work required & provided suggestions. Listened to my requests for high quality parts & included them. He diligently completed the work which took a fair number of hours (he didn't short cut anything). A true craftsman! Plus, we have light carpet & he protected it throughout. They aren't going to be your lowest bid, but you get what you pay for; from outward appearances, enduring long lasting quality. If you notice, employees have their photos of who is doing the work. IMO, it shows that they take pride in their work, & they should. Brandon, the owner, probably deserves credit also. This is an easy call for future work. Thank you again Heath!Posted on Google Cat KidderTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stetson & Heath are the best! They did work in my home. I truly wish I had found Brandon and his team before bringing in other plumbers and even a foundation repair company. It would’ve saved me so much time, money, and stress. Brandon is hands-down the most knowledgeable expert in the leak detection and plumbing repair industry. He identified the issue almost immediately, walked me through the plan to fix it, and had a crew on-site faster than I thought possible. And the cleanup? Incredible. I was honestly nervous about how my yard would look after replacing the main line, but they left it looking just as good, if not better than before they started. Brandon and his crew have absolutely earned my trust and my business for life.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Utah homes face two massive plumbing enemies: extreme temperature fluctuations and aggressively hard water.
The municipal water in the Salt Lake Valley is packed with dissolved calcium and magnesium. Over time, these minerals calcify inside your interior pipes, reducing the inner diameter and damaging the rubber gaskets in your shut-off valves. If you have ever tried to turn the water off under your kitchen sink only to find the valve completely locked in place, hard water scale is the culprit. We specialize in descaling, repairing, and replacing these critical interior components.
We manage the intricate plumbing inside your walls, ceilings, and utility rooms.
Why do my pipes bang loudly when my washing machine stops filling? This is a hydraulic shock condition known as “water hammer.” When an appliance valve snaps shut quickly, the fast-moving water slams into the closed valve, causing the pipes to shake and bang against your wall studs violently. Over time, this can cause pipe joints to shatter. We can solve this by installing water hammer arrestors to absorb the shock.
What causes low water pressure throughout my entire house? If the pressure drops at every fixture simultaneously, the issue is at the source. This is almost always caused by a failing Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) on your main water line, or a partially closed main shut-off valve. If your home has old galvanized pipes, severe internal rust buildup could also be choking off the main supply.
Can I use a saddle valve to connect a new refrigerator water line? While hardware stores sell DIY “saddle valves” that pierce your existing copper pipes, they are notoriously prone to leaking and are actually against plumbing code in many municipalities. A licensed plumber will cut the pipe and install a proper, permanent tee-fitting and shut-off valve to protect your kitchen from flooding.
Don’t wait for a dripping pipe to turn into a flooded ceiling. Contact your local Midvale plumbing team for a permanent solution.
